Negative Ghost Writer

Only about a decade late on the whole Chick-Lit trend, Tinsley Mortimor’Southern Charm could be the worst $17 I’ve spent in a while. (I don’t even know why exactly I bought it, but was curious after her write up in W.) I can’t even get to page 100 of her autobiography  creative fiction about a Southern Belle who climbs to the top of the New York social scene. Her W article mentioned how she felt  misrepresented in her reality show “High Society” and thinks that her book will paint a better picture of who she really is. Can’t say that this book will be her ticket back after her original come back – “High Society” – but who knows. Lauren Conrad and Nicole Richie‘s books did make it to NYTimes best sellers, so it’s definitely who you know… And Tinsley should definitely know…
