On rediscovering familiar streets

When you look through a lens,
that world so familiar before, draws new lines and folds new curves.
You notice the beautifully carved faults on each wall.
The weathering of old wood, old walls, old floors.
You notice the delapidation of frenetic footsteps.
The colours of passers by, the invading new comers.
